So it has been quite a while since I have posted anything on my blog. Here's an update in my crazy life: finished my freshman year, moved back home, and finally come to terms with reality and decided to be happy. Well, that sums it up. From here on out, my blogs are probably going to become a little more insightful, or at least that's my intention.
Passion. That's what I have been experiencing a lot of lately. There's no event more passionate than a good concert. Sadly my concert going just started this semester. Yes, I am a late bloomer haha. Back to the point though, I really feel like when an artist truly enjoys what they are doing when on that stage, whether it is big or small, the audience can feel it. My first experience with this was May 1st. Square Room in Knoxville. The Dirty Guv'nahs with Do it to Julia. While enjoying the music, I could tangibly feel the good vibes coming from their passion for music into my soul. Its a great feeling by the way. I know that sounds crazy, but it was awesome. I want to be able to have so much passion about one single thing like that.
As a sidenote, I have decided to put a permanent positive outlook on life. It is too short for sadness and stress, and everything in life has a silver lining (even if it is a small one). I have decided to make this summer life changing and to live it up because every day is a gift that is worthy of savoring.
